Each year a few individuals are nominated from the ranks of the Glen Williams residents for "Citizen of the Year". These volunteers represent the best in community spirit and are chosen for their tireless efforts to better the Glen.At the 2009 Canada Day Parade, Don Barclay was chosen as the Glen Williams Citizen of the Year!
